I meant to say that you haven't provided enough information in your question. Which web site? Are you trying to fill a web form?

yes, I am trying to submit the username and password to web page form (login form)
using the web browser (phone.intent)
I did the same with VB (enclosed), but don't know how to do in with B4A.

You can use WebViewExtras library to inject JavaScript to WebView. However if you can instead send the request yourself (with OkHttpUtils2) then it will be simpler.
The web form does send a request eventually.

I am looking to us the web browser (phoneintent) and not the WebView
as once I have transferred the username & password I can close the app. (At is not needed any more).
with WebView I can not close the app.
