A: No. Basic4android programming language is simple and straightforward.

Q: What is the difference between the Standard version and the Enterprise version?

A: The Standard version includes two months of free upgrades. The Enterprise version includes two years of free upgrades.

Q: Is it possible to upgrade from the Standard version to the Enterprise version?

A: Yes. The price for such an upgrade is $69.

Q: Which phones and tablets are supported?

A: All Android devices (smartphones and tablets) running Android 1.6 or above are supported (that includes Android 2.x, 3.x and 4.x devices).

A: The trial version does not support libraries and other advanced features. The trial version is limited to 30 days.

Q: How can I reuse existing Java code?

A: You can wrap your Java code as a library and then reference it from Basic4android IDE. See this tutorial for more information.

Q: Can I export my source code to a Java project?

A: Yes. During compilation Basic4android generates Java code. The code is available under the Objects subfolder.
You can copy the Java source code to a different folder and use it outside of Basic4android.
You will also need to reference Core.jar and BAShared.jar which are included in the installation.

Q: Can I install Basic4android on more than one computer

A: Each developer requires a single license. However you can install a single license on two computers.
