The change was not done by Basic4ppc but rather in .Net CF 2.0 vs .Net CF 1.0.
As the optimized compiler creates .Net CF 2.0 applications the double pixel effect doesn't occur.
AFAIK it is not possible to create a .Net CF 2.0 application which uses double pixel.
It will be further checked.
