Default Basic4ppc on Linux?

Ive just got my new Asus EEE, its so brilliant, much better than my vista laptop.

Now any chance I can run Basic4PPC on it?

Hi colin9876,

I'm sure only Erel could give the correct answer...

But maybe it is possible to run baisc4ppc with http://www.mono-project.com. Haven't tried it yet...

Basic4ppc is based on the .Net Framework.
AFAIK, Linux doesn't support the .Net Framework.

Check out the Mono project for cross-platform .NET

http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page

Its' probably not mature enough to run B4PPC and although they say it can run binaries produced by Visual Studio it probably depends upon exactly which parts of the Framework the app references.

Anyway I'm putting XP on my EEE.

Default grass not greener!

Maybe this is a bit off topic but just out of interest Im not quite as pleased with Linux as I hoped. I still think Vista is annoying but the troubles Ive had installing programs or drivers on Linux already outpass that. Maybe Im just not used to it but all this ALT t sudo stuff is far from intuative.

So I may be going XP again on my EEE and then back to Basic4PPC
