launch and close other applications

Hello,

it would be very useful to to able to launch & close other applications from B4PPC, so that we could develop new schedulers, tasklists, appli-swap, ....

You can already do that using the Shell command (at least the opening of other programs, see the help file for more info). It really helps in writing nice programs !

Thank you for answer.
SHELL is OK for opening applis but how to close them ?
It would be great to get the process for each application running also...

I just saw that you can do this if you install Mortscript (a freeware program from http://www.sto-helit.de/) and run it with the shell command of Basic4ppc.

But for more complex programs, it would be also usefull to manage directly the process numbers in Windows
