error in insalling 6.00

This is the message I get:

The feature you are trying to use is on a
network resource that is unavailable.


Then says something about an installation package
'Basic4ppc-Desktop-Full.msi

then shows a sourse:
C:\DOCME~1\COMPAQ~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temperary Directory 1 for Basic4ppcV5.Zip

Please uninstall Basic4ppc (with Add / Remove programs in the control panel).
Afterwards install it again and make sure to unzip the zip file before installation.

It wont let me uninstall.
I get the exact same error when trying to uninstall

Unzip the installation file and put Basic4ppc-Desktop.msi on the desktop.
When you are asked for this file (during the uninstall) browse to the desktop and locate it.
