Default Tab Control bug?

Willisgt is having trouble with TabControl. This is a fully pared down demo of the problem. Run it. Press the button, see Form2 with a TabControl but note that tab.visible is false despite being explicitly set true yet the tab is visible. Close Form2 and press the button - no TabControl, visible property still false

Compiled exes behave the same so I suspect a bug in ControlsEx.dll.

Small addition:
The old TabControl.dll shows the same (buggy) behaviour.

There is a fix to this bug here: http://www.basic4ppc.com/forum/showt...0552#post10552

About the Visible error, if a form is hidden all its child controls are regarded as not visible.
When you check the Visible property in sub Form2_Show, form2 is still hidden and therefore will return false.

Thanks Erel, I was just about to post that I had found that the visibility thing was a red herring!
