Default Format of file "SQLDesktop.dll" is invalid.

This is probably not a bug, but i don't really know where to put this.

I've installed b4ppc version 4.05, .net version 2 and extracted the SQLExample to a separate directory. This directory contains the files Northwind.sl3, SQL.sbp, SQLDesktop.dll, SQLDevice.dll and TreeView.dll.

Whenever i try to load the SQL.sbp file, the following error message occurs:

An error occurred.
The format of the file 'SQLDesktop.dll" is invalid.

Do i need to install something additional?

Peter

Default

This error appears if the .Net 2.0 was not installed properly or Basic4ppc was not configured to use it.
See this page about installing .Net Framework 2.0:

Red face

Reading can be so difficult!

You were right, Erel (of course!). Several elements were not installed correctly by me. Either at the wrong place or not installed at all.
After REALLY READING your instructions, everything worked out great.

Thank you for the help.

Peter
