Don't worry, I like Porto too, but more as an aperitif. But with a good meal I prefer either a good red or white wine depending on the meal. And as I live in a wine growing area I drink mostly local ones (and there are quite good ones over here with a big variety of different grapes).

I'm not a man of wines, but I also live in a wine growing region... Check the wines from Saumur, and if there is one you like, I'll be more that happy to send it to you.

Actually, quite by coincidence, I picked up some Chilean Merlot tonight which we really like and some Unoaked Chardonnay as well (Chilean again).
