Default Freeware program to see your PDA on the Pc

I just stumbled over this program. It allows you to see, enter text, copy and paste and write on your pda via the pc. It has very quickly (less than 10 minutes!) become a "must-program" for me .

see: http://mymobiler.com/

all the best / Björn

The Microsoft Remote Display program doesn't work for me (Vista with Mobile Device Centre 6 on PC and 2003 SE on the device), I guess because it is quite an old application now.

However MyMobiler works fine with one BIG caveat. I managed to hang my device so badly with MyMobiler that a soft reset didn't bring it back and so had to hard reset and reinstall everything. I think that this happened because I somehow exited MyMobiler on the PC while the device thought it was still connected so I would recommend that you disable Autoconnect in MyMobiler and be religious about ensuring that it is not running and connected except when you want to use it.

Default Not Freeware, but Cheap Enough

I use Pocket Controller from SOTI -
http://www.soti.net/default.asp?Cmd=...s&SubCmd=PCPro

It works with my Axim x50v and x5, supporting skins, and makes for great screen captures and interactive operation.
