forum back-up

HI!
I'll be away to a place that internet may not be handy and I may do some coding during those times. As forum is really great help and have very usefull references for my learning process, I would like to save all or some discussions or threads to my desktop. Is there an easy way to do this?

I don't think that you can view the forum database offline.
There are backups but the backups are not viewable (without the online server).

Try to make the webpage "viewable off-line" in internet explorer...
There is an option to do it, but I don't remember exactly how....
Then set your internet off, and try to access the website, and some post that you havent yet visited... if it works, your back-up is done...

I does work with "normal" sites, just not sure with a forum...
