compiling 5.80 all OK

why?

You are missing an ampersand (in bold) which is the usual source of this problem. Also you may be missing a single quote at the very end of the string.

I use SQLite and string SQL all OK
if i compile with b4ppc 5.8 all OK

That still doesn't alter the fact that you ARE missing an ampersand as I indicated! 5.80 will compile without it 6.01 will not!
