Default winpcap

Hi
Source code for winpcap for Windows CE is available at WinPcap, The Packet Capture and Network Monitoring Library for Windows. If compiled could this be used as a library within basic4ppc ?
(Apologies if this is a bit of a noob question....)

thanks - david

Basic4ppc can only load .Net dlls (usually written with C# or VB .Net). This is a native dll (written in eVC) and therefore can't be used in Basic4ppc.
It is possible to create .Net wrappers for simple native dlls by P\Invoking the native functions, however this is not the case here.

Thanks Erel for your reply. Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 (Express edition) allows you to write Class libraries (.dll). Can I use this to create a libraries for B4PPC ?

regards
david

The Express edition doesn't support smart devices so you can only write libraries for the desktop.
