Default Serial Number

Hi,
You can use GetDeviceID in Hardware.dll, I think!

Best regards

Thanks for the Quick reply JJM, But i'm not sure if this is the serial number of the device or of one of its components....How to compare them?

It returns the Device ID which is not the serial number (but it's unique).
Note that not all devices support this function. Some will return an empty string.
You can also check the registry for the owner name.
