Default Windows Splitting

Windows Splitting

.
This can be done by pulling down the small button at the text editor upper-left corner.
This action will open another window with the same code.

for some reason i don't find this small button

It is a typo.
It should read: ...upper-right corner.

Maybe everybody knows this already but I was very suprised when I found out that you also can split the window vertically, using the same "button" on the left side of the horizontal scrollbar.
And it is possible to combine both splittings, so you can edit your code with 4 windows showing all different editing positions.

This looks very nice on a 22'' monitor ...

What gives you a horizontal scrollbar, I can't seem to get mine to produce one.

I know where you mean but I don't have a horizontal scrollbar at all and don't remember haveing one. I have vertical but not horizontal.

edit:

I always have word wrap on that's why I don't see horizontal, sorry.
