Default Can I use Basic4PPC to control my Mogul from the Desktop?

I have a Sprint-Mogul (WM6) and an XP laptop (SP2).

I wish to "simulate" the functions of my car navigation system relative to the Mogul when the Mogul is connected to my laptop (USB). The functions I wish to simulate are effectively the Bluetooth Hands-free protocol.

I would like to:

1. Detect when the Mogul is in the dock (USB attached to laptop)

2. Detect on the Mogul that the phone is ringing and send that information to the laptop so it can present an "Answer/Ignore" pop-up.

3. Send a message back to the Mogul to do what was selected in the pop-up.

4. On the Mogul, if answer is selected, turn-on Bluetooth so that the Headset profile is activated.

5. Control reversing all of this on hangup on either the phone or laptop.

Can I do all of this using Basic4PPC?

Does there exist a program ofany kind that will actually do the hands-free profile or has someone done it using Basic4PPC?

Regards,
Jim

You can communicate between the phone and the desktop using the Network library.
However turning the Bluetooth on and off and hanging a call can't be done without a customized library (such library doesn't exist on this forum).

Erel,

Thank you for the input.

I have found a couple of programs that toggle BT on/off from the "command line" so I can do that.

But that begs the question, is there any way to get the current state of such things as BT, WiFi, etc?

Regards,
Jim
