Problem with "OpenDialog"

Hi, everybody! I have a problem with "open dialog" control. When i make filter e.g. "programs|*.exe" it shows files only on the memory card, so i can't choose file e.g. "program files\some program\file.exe". Is it normal or i did something wrong?

It is normal.
This is a (purpose) limitation of the Windows Mobile OS.

If you prefer a more general solution (for all your programs) then you can try "FileDialogChanger", it replaces the ppc dialog and makes it possible to open all folders on the ppc. I can really recommend it.

BjornF, "FileDialogChanger" really excellent, I did not know about it, but I like to use my own code:-) I have improved FolderChooser(see attachment) so now it can choose files. I've found the decision, thank you all!
