Problem installing .Net Framework 2.0

Does anyone have a suggestion on this problem. Everytime I try to install net framework 2.0 everything works properly right up to the PPC trying to execute the CAB file.

When it does I get the message "The file "\Windows
AppMgr\Install\microsoft.NET CF 2.0.CAB" is not a valid Windows CD Setup file.

I tried bypassing the auto setup and copying the CAB directly to the PPC and then running it and I get the same error message.

A google search has helped with a solution.
