printing and barcode printing help

hi all
i am trying to print using basic4ppc .
the task i want to do is print a text over wifi form my ppc
and also generate and print a barcode from my ppc
can any boy help me on this or give me a hind on how to do it?

the problem that i have is how can i send a text to be printed on my printer
alos how to send a barcode to be printed as barcode

You will need to first send it to the desktop and then print it from the desktop.

Could you explain more detail about sending to the desktop means?
FTP?
How about sending a Binary File to the TCP/IP Network printer port?

There are several methods which you can use to send a file to the desktop.
One of them is with the Network library, like derez's application: http://www.basic4ppc.com/forum/share...plication.html

It is possible to send the file directly to the printer. However you will probably need to first learn the printer's protocol.
