PPC Help files format

What format would you suggest for an PPC application's help files? And is it possible to launch the help files from the application?

I am using Helpmaker to create the files.

Helpmaker will be of no use for PPC help. PPC help is written in HTML with a few small extensions to provide table of contents. My library http://www.basic4ppc.com/forum/addit...p-library.html provides access to the PPC help engine. The help file has a link to a description of the format in the overview.
