table control copy/paste

can anybody help me ????
i'm quite new to basic4ppc but find very useful

my problem (which i expect is stupid):

i can copy within a table control cell using the right mouse button but cannot paste info into a different cell using the right mouse button scrolled down to paste what am i doing wtong !!!

also i see on the same right click sub menu vrious options eg read 'right to left' is there anyway to interergate these within the progrmme

if you see what i mean !!!

The Table control is not editable and therefore you can't paste any text.
There is an editable table here: http://www.basic4ppc.com/forum/code-...e-desktop.html

The other options in this menu are default windows options.
If you like you can create your own context menu and use it instead of this one.

thanks for quick reply really appreciate such quick backup and response

ok i've used the context code with my table substituting the 'textbox1' with 'table1' in the addcontextmenu instruction but the table didn't do anything changed it back to 'textbox1' which worked as expected within the text box . It looks as though the table control paste doesn't work or should i have seen a different drop down menu in the table ???

used the editable table which seems to work ok !!
have got a lot of work to do in understanding the code so that i completley understand what going on

The normal Table control is not editable, so you can't paste anything in it.

The Editable table code is pretty complex. I will later rewrite it as a separate module to make it simpler to add it to any project.
