Default My first request for help with a form

Hello,

After a long search I landed on this forum, saw B4P and am now a happy user.
Serveral form based appl on my device show a vertical bar (pipe) on the first position under the header. See the black line comletely left in the print screen.
I have been searching and cannot find any topics about this on www.
Tried various samples, many written in C#; some don't show the pipe and others show the pipe. Some function and some don't.

The code in C# is way to complicated for me .........

Thank you very much in advance and best regards,
Helen.

I think the problem may be that, if your device is a Falk F8 as indicated, it is running probably Windows CE 5.0 and not Windows Mobile. Basic4ppc produces Windows Mobile apps. There are differences in the screen layout between the two OSs. Windows CE menus are at the top and Windows Mobile menus are at the bottom. This may be your problem.

See the "Relationship to Windows Mobile, Pocket PC, and SmartPhone" section here Windows CE - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

agraham,

Thank you for your reply and the link.
I went trought the forum, samples and B4P site and didn't see that it is specifically for Mobile. Must have missed something.
Well, I keep on searching.

Regards, Helen.

Edit: now I see on the website that CE 5.0 is missing

Where is this vertical pipe?
I only see a strange gray horizontal bar.

Look carefully at the extreme left of the "strange grey" bar .

2-3 pixels wide? I see it.

You can try to remove the menu bar with FormLib.FullScreen and see if it fixes this issue.

Hello and thank you!
With the FullScreen and a post of Klaus http://www.basic4ppc.com/forum/quest...en-device.html
I finally got rid of the pipe.

Best regards,
Helen
