I looked at xda-developper and found this in post#7:
Com port config app for Google Maps - Page 7 - xda-developers

This app is for WM5 Smartphones.
PPCs have GPS config exposed in the settings page.

So GPSCom would be of no use for you.

I don't know if this could be helpfull ?
